Billing
Payment is expected when services are rendered. If you have insurance we will gladly submit claims for you. All copays which are your responsibility are expected at the time of your visit.
Obstetrical Care
If you do not have insurance coverage for prenatal care and or delivery, our full fee is due prior to delivery. Our billing office can assist you in making payment arrangements.
Surgical Fees
Any surgical fees for which you do not have insurance coverage are due prior to your surgery date. Any payment which is determined to be your responsibility is due within 60 days following your surgery. If you are unable to pay your surgical bill within 60 days, please contact our billing department promptly to make payment arrangements. Accounts more than 90 days past due will be sent to a collection agency.
Insurance
We accept Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Blue Care Network, Health Plus of MI, Health Plus Partners, Medicare, Medicaid sponsored plans, PPOM, MCare, HAP, as well as most other commercial insurances. All of the physicians are Genesys PHO Preferred Specialists.
We will automatically submit a standardized insurance form to your insurance company for you whenever possible. If we do not have your insurance company’s address, the form will be sent to you for submission to either your insurance company or employer.
For your convenience, we accept cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express.
Lab and Hospital Billing
Any questions regarding bills pertaining to services performed outside our office such as, blood work, Pap smear specimens, biopsies, etc., should be directed to the number listed on the statement. While the doctor at our office may have ordered a test or sent a specimen out to be processed, we are unable to access any of those accounts.
